STEP BY STEP: REIGSTERING YOUR CHILD FOR KIDCHECK
Use this guide to create your first-time account for KidCheck
Go to: www.kidcheck.com
- Click “sign-up” in the upper-right corner
- Click “create a free parent account”
- Fill out all fields, and remember to write down the password you create
- For your church/daycare type: Zion Lutheran Church
- Click on “Register”
- After reading the terms and conditions, click “I agree”
- Fill out all information as accurately and thoroughly as possible. The information provided will be used in case of an emergency. We encourage you to agree to receive text messages. If you enable text messaging, we will be able to contact you quickly and discretely should an emergency situation arise. This information will not be shared with any other party.
- Click “save” after checking that all information is accurate
- Your profile should now appear
- Click on the tab that says “My Kids”
- Click the “+” sign to add a new child
- Enter information about your child. Don’t forget to add any allergy/medical information.
- Click below the photo to “upload a photo.” You can then browse and select a photo if you are on your home computer. This photo will NOT be seen by any outside party and is only for the protection and identification of your child. KidCheck is a secure network. You can change the photo at any time.
- Click “save changes” once you are finished creating a profile for your child
- Continue to click on “add a new child” for each additional child, and fill out all information
- When you are finished creating profiles for your children, click on the tab that says “My Guardians”
- Here, you will add information about your spouse and other family members that are authorized (or not authorized) to pick up your child. You will need the phone number and email address for each additional guardian. Only 1 KidCheck account is needed per family.
- Click below the photo box to “Upload a photo.” You are strongly encouraged to upload photos of authorized guardians. These photos will NOT be seen by any outside party and are only for the protection of your child. KidCheck is a secure network.
- Click “save changes” once you are finished creating a profile for other guardians authorized to retrieve your child.
- Click “logout” when you are finished with your KidCheck profile. Please remember and write down your password, so that you can make changes when needed.
When checking your kids in a Zion, you will need to know your phone number to log back in. You will receive a keychain to help quicken the log-in process after your profile is complete.
If you have any trouble, click on the word “help” while in the KidCheck program.
